What is a blog for?

Use a blog as a practical tool to publish the same old stuff, or as a tool to start a new type of conversation.

If you just use it as a publishing tool, then either

  1. nobody will care (official communications are boring, full of corpspeak)
  2. people will talk back, and you’ll have to jump into the conversation, even if it’s uncomfortable
